Time has proved that all this violence in and outside the ring takes a toll on these wrestlers. One such professional wrestler who has had this experience is Lex Luger who has been in this sport for several decades including the 1980s, 90s, 2000s, and early 2011. Who is Lex Luger?

Lex Luger is the professional name of Lawrence Wendell Pfohl, an American now retired professional wrestler, bodybuilder, TV producer, and football player. He was active in professional wrestling from 1985 onwards until 2012. He took a break in between in 2007 but later returned to the ring. He has held several titles over the years including WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice, WWA World Heavyweight Championship once, and also the NWA/WCW United States Heavyweight Championship five times. He has been in every title division in his career and during 1993 he was voted the Most Popular Wrestler of the Year by the readers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Later in 2011, he started working with WWE on their Wellness Policy thus continuing his lifelong commitment to professional wrestling.
